​The group will be for anyone who owns alpacas (BAS or not BAS registered) in the east midlands which includes Derbyshire , Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.

The objectives of the group are for owners in the East Midlands area to have a way to communicate and socialise with one another, share knowledge, medications, shearing tips, fleece management and husbandry assistance and ask questions via social media.

In the long term the aim of the group will also be extended to hosting fleece and halter shows.
